Double Coated Polyester 3.4 Mil - Clear (51114)

A 0.5 mil clear polyester film coated on both sides with an aggressive synthetic hot melt rubber adhesive (1.5 mils per side). This 3.5 mil tape is provided on a 2.7 mil white siliconized paper release liner and wound on a 3” neutral core.

FEATURES/APPLICATIONS:

  • Excellent quick-stick; ideal for laminating difficult substrates & various webs, such as foams and foils (i.e. for fabrication of mouse pads).
  • Superior moisture resistance in humid conditions once bonded.
  • Splicing of various materials such as papers, plastics, films, foils, etc.
  • Mounting nameplates, keyboard assembly, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The surface should be clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, powder, dust, release agents, etc.

STORAGE:

Tape should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry area at 65°F to 70°F and 50% RH.
