Double Coated Polyester 3.5 Mil - Bright Red (54109R)

A 3.5 mil double coated bright RED splicing tape, specifically designed for highly visible splices. Composed of a 0.5 mil RED Mylar film, coated on each side with an aggressive, clear acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. Wound on a white Kraft paper liner.

FEATURES/BENEFITS:

  • High tack, high peel acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive with unusually high shear strength for product this aggressive.
  • Exhibits excellent low temperature performance.

APPLICATIONS:

  • High performance red splicing tape used in the manufacture of paper, plastics, foils and other continuous web processes when a visual splice is critical.
  • Designed for use on a variety of high or low surface energy plastics, mounting and laminating system for dissimilar metals, foams, foils and nameplates.
  • Excellent conformability for most irregular surfaces.
