Single Sided Foam Medium Density (16SMD)

A medium density closed cell black PVC foam tape coated on one side with a high performance acrylic adhesive, and carried on a white siliconized paper liner. Higher density provides a tougher more durable tape product for more demanding applications.

FEATURES/BENEFITS:

  • Excellent weatherability and chemical resistance. 

  • It is a clean, waste free substitute for liquid sealants.

  • Product remains pliable (no cracking) at low & high temperature ranges from -4°F to 176°F.

  • Used extensively in the automotive, HVAC, and construction industries to provide air & weather tight seals.

  • For gasketing, cushioning, and vibration control in speakers, vehicles, electronic components, door frames, etc. 

  • Used for its insulating and sealing properties in weather stripping applications.
