Double Sided White Polypropylene (51511)

A 2.0 mil white, stretchable, non-oriented cast polypropylene (CPP) film, coated on both sides with a 1.15 mil high grade synthetic hot melt rubber adhesive. This 4.3 mil tape is provided on a white, bi-siliconized paper release liner and wound on a 3” neutral core.

APPLICATIONS:                   

  • Used for core start-ups, splicing, holding, joining, attaching, mounting and laminating.
  • Ideal for splicing and laminating difficult-to-stick substrates.
  • Great tack & stretchable (high elongation) properties allow the tape to adhere & conform to a variety of surfaces – smooth, rough, flat or curved.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

The surface should be clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, powder, dust, release agents, etc.

STORAGE:

Tape should be stored out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry area at 65°F to 70°F and 50% RH.
