Single Sided PVC Foam Tape - Low Density (16SLD)

A low density closed cell black or gray PVC foam tape coated on one side with a high performance acrylic adhesive, and carried on a white siliconized paper liner. It is an economical, general purpose foam tape used in applications requiring positive seals.

FEATURES/BENEFITS:

  • Excellent combination of flexibility and & conformability with strength & wear resistance.
  • Excellent weatherability and chemical resistance.
  • It is a clean, waste free substitute for liquid sealants.
  • Product remains pliable (no cracking) at low & high temperature ranges from -4°F to 176°F.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Used extensively in the automotive, HVAC, and construction industries to provide air & weather tight seals.
  • For gasketing, cushioning, and vibration control in speakers, vehicles, electronic components, door frames, etc.
  • Used for its insulating and sealing properties in weather stripping applications.

Custom Width's Available

NOTE: All foam orders are custom converted (slit) to width which can take 1-3 days; longer for thinner widths.  Once converted, orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable.   

Alternative to Norton V700 series, Gaska #V710 and #V810, Novagard LD series.

All non-specialty unused and unopened items received within 30 days may be returned for a full refund or exchange of the product. Tape Jungle will also pay for the return shipping if returned due to company error or product defect.

A 15% restocking fee will apply to converted items, sizes that are listed on the website but cut specifically to order. Custom orders, as defined as application-specific sizes that are NOT listed on the website are non-returnable without prior approval except in the event of company error.
